Job Overview Pivotal Construction is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent - Ground-Up to oversee the successful execution of commercial and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate brings 5-10 years of ground-up field leadership experience and a strong command of all phases of construction-from site work and foundations to structure, MEPs, and finishes. This is a boots-on-the-ground role where leadership, organization, and jobsite coordination are key. Learn more at . Key Responsibilities - Lead all on-site construction activities for assigned ground-up projects
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and inspections
- Ensure projects are built to specifications, on schedule, and within budget
- Conduct and document daily jobsite reports, including progress photos and updates
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite with strict adherence to safety protocols
- Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies
- Conduct weekly safety meetings and submit documentation accordingly
- Collaborate with Project Managers on schedules, scopes, and RFIs
- Manage subcontractor performance and quality control throughout all phases
- Maintain regular communication with owners, architects, and inspectors
- Assist with project punch list and closeout coordination
Qualifications - 5-10 years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial projects
- Proven ability to lead subcontractors and enforce project quality, timeline, and safety standards
- In-depth knowledge of all phases of commercial construction, including foundations, framing, MEP systems, and finishes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of project documentation, drawings, and schedules
- Proficient with construction software and digital reporting tools
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
